Care + Fit Guide

Welcome to Fitversal.

Every piece we release is built to feel premium the moment you put it on—clean structure, elevated comfort, and a finish that holds up in real life. This guide is here to help you get the best fit and the longest life out of your garments.

For product-specific details, always follow:

  • the size chart on the product page, and
  • the care label inside your garment.

Fit

Fit, made simple

Fitversal is designed for everyday movement—comfortable, structured, repeat-wear essentials that look elevated without noise.

Choose your size

Start with these rules, then confirm using the product size chart:

  • Standard fit: choose your usual size
  • Relaxed fit: size up
  • Between sizes: decide how you want it to feel
    • closer fit → size down
    • relaxed fit → size up

Best practice (most accurate)

If you want the most consistent results, compare the size chart to a similar garment you already own.

Choose your favorite hoodie/jogger/tee, lay it flat, and measure it—then match those numbers to the chart.

How to measure (quick + accurate)

Use a measuring tape and measure a garment that fits you well laid flat.

Tops (hoodies / tees / tanks)

  • Chest: measure armpit to armpit, then double
  • Length: highest shoulder point to hem
  • Sleeve (if listed): shoulder seam to cuff

Bottoms (joggers / shorts / leggings)

  • Waist: measure across the waistband, then double
  • Inseam: crotch seam to hem
  • Outseam (if listed): waistband to hem
  • Hip (if listed): widest point across, then double

What “minor variation” means

Small differences can happen across production runs. This is normal and doesn’t affect quality—your garment is still built to Fitversal standards.

Care

Universal care (recommended)

These are the best practices that protect shape, softness, and finish across most Fitversal garments:

  • Wash cold
  • Turn inside out
  • Use mild detergent
  • Avoid bleach
  • Tumble dry low (or hang dry for best longevity)
  • Do not iron directly on prints, embroidery, or labels
  • Avoid heavy fabric softener (it can change hand-feel over time)

If your garment’s care label differs from the above, follow the label.

Fabric & Finish Notes

Fleece / heavyweight pieces

These are built to feel substantial and structured. To preserve that:

  • use low heat or hang dry
  • avoid high heat drying (it increases shrink risk and can change texture)

Performance / stretch fabrics

To maintain recovery and feel:

  • avoid heavy softeners
  • air dry when possible
  • keep heat low if you machine dry

Printed or embroidered pieces

To protect the finish:

  • wash inside out
  • avoid harsh stain removers on decorated areas
  • never iron directly on prints/embroidery

Quick FAQ

Will it shrink?

Slight shrink is possible with warm/hot wash or high heat drying.
Cold wash + low dry (or hang dry) reduces shrink risk.
