Use this guide as a starting point for choosing a size and caring for Fitversal products. Product-specific measurements and the sewn-in care label always take priority over general guidance.

Choosing your size

1. Open the size information for the exact product you are considering.
2. Compare the garment measurements with a similar item you already own.
3. Read the product’s fit profile—such as fitted, regular, relaxed, boxy, or oversized.
4. Choose according to the silhouette you want rather than assuming your usual labeled size will fit identically across every product.

How to compare garment measurements

Tops, hoodies, and layers

• Chest: measure straight across the garment from underarm to underarm when the product chart uses a flat garment measurement.
• Length: compare the listed garment length with a similar piece you like.
• Shoulder: compare shoulder width when it is supplied, especially for drop-shoulder, boxy, and oversized silhouettes.
• Sleeve: use the listed sleeve measurement and note where the shoulder seam is intended to sit.

Bottoms

• Waist: check whether the measurement is a flat garment measurement or body measurement; product-specific charts should make the distinction clear.
• Hip: compare with a similar pair of pants when a flat garment measurement is supplied.
• Length or inseam: use whichever measurement the product provides to judge where the garment is likely to finish.

Fit profiles are intentional

A boxy fit and an oversized fit are not the same thing. A boxy silhouette generally emphasizes width and a more squared shape, while an oversized silhouette can add room through several dimensions. Product pages should describe the intended profile rather than relying only on the size label.

General care guidance

Always follow the garment’s sewn-in care label first. When the label permits, these habits can help reduce unnecessary wear:

• Wash with similar colors.
• Turn printed or decorated garments inside out before washing when appropriate.
• Use cool water and a gentle cycle when permitted by the label.
• Avoid unnecessary high heat.
• Do not iron directly over printed, transferred, or decorated areas.
• Close zippers and secure drawstrings before washing when applicable.
• Do not use bleach unless the garment label specifically permits it.
