Care & Fit Guide
Use this guide as a starting point for choosing your size and caring for your Fitversal pieces. Product-specific size charts and the care label attached to the garment always take priority over general guidance.
Choosing your size
- Open the size chart on the product page you are shopping.
- Take your measurements with a soft measuring tape and compare them with that chart.
- Check the product description for words such as fitted, regular, relaxed, boxy, or oversized.
- If you fall between sizes, choose based on your preferred fit. Size up for more room or size down for a closer fit when the product chart allows.
Do not assume the same size will fit identically across every product. Fits and size ranges can vary by style.
How to measure
- Chest or bust: Measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waist without pulling the tape tight.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the inner leg to the desired hem.
Fit notes by category
Hoodies, tees, and tanks
Use your chest or bust measurement first, then compare the listed garment length. Oversized and boxy styles are intentionally shaped differently from standard fits.
Leggings and sports bras
Use the product-specific waist, hip, and bust measurements. A close fit should still allow comfortable movement without pinching or excessive looseness.
Shorts and sweatpants
Compare both waist and hip measurements, then check the listed inseam or garment length when available.
Care guidance
Always follow the garment’s sewn-in care label. When the label permits, these habits can help protect color, shape, and printed details:
- Wash with similar colors and turn printed garments inside out.
- Use a gentle cycle and cool water.
- Avoid bleach unless the care label specifically allows it.
- Air dry when practical and label-approved; avoid unnecessary high heat.
- Do not iron directly over printed or decorated areas.
- Close zippers and secure drawstrings before washing.
